Planning to attend our 45th Annual Show? Here’s some general information to help you get the most from your visit.
Our 45th Annual Show will be held on Labor Day Weekend, September 4-7, 2020.
Friday, September 4: 9 AM – 5 PM
Saturday, September 5: 9 AM – 5 PM
Sunday, September 6: 9 AM – 5 PM
Monday, September 7: 9 AM – 4 PM
Our show is held on the U.P. State Fairgrounds, U. S. Highway 2 & 41, Escanaba, Michigan
Please use the Parking Entrances on 14th Avenue North. Entry to the show through Ticket Gate only. No walk ins.
The gate charge is $6 per day per person. Weekend wristbands are also available for $10 each. Children 14 and under are admitted free of charge.
The showgrounds are nearly all flat and can be navigated easily. Because of the sandy soil, there is very little mud. All of the buildings are accessible.
This year we are featuring International Harvester equipment. We are also hosting the IHC Chapter 11 2020 State Show and Summer Meeting.
During the show there are threshing and hay baling demonstrations on the Activities Field. Rock crusher, drag saw, shingle mill and steam-powered saw mill demonstrations are held in Antique Village. Daily parades start at 1 PM and engine crank-ups start at 2 PM.
Pets are welcome. However, if your animal is skittish about loud noises, you might want to leave it at home. All animals should be on a 6-foot leash and should not be taken into food service areas. Please pick up after your animal.
Be alert for moving equipment. Antique equipment often lacks the driver visibility and breaking ability of modern machines. Please help avoid accidents by keeping minimum 3 feet distance from all running equipment.
GOLF CART RENTALS
We have a limited number of golf carts available for visitors who have mobility challenges. The cost is $50 a day. Rentals are located beside the Ticket Gate.
To help you get around, we offer a complimentary shuttle service during show hours. The route includes stops in the exhibition area, the flea market area, Antique Village, and the ticket gate.
In Antique Village, the Cook Shack offers a selection of soups and sandwiches. The Ice Cream Shop serves up hand-dipped cones and floats. In the General Store you’ll find a variety of baked goods.
Our popular Pie Sale is located at the back of the Indoor Flea Market in the Miracle of Life Building.
In the exhibition area, enjoy an ear of our famous “steamed” corn cooked by a Port Huron steam engine.
You’ll also find various other food vendors on the showgrounds.
Restrooms are located in Antique Village, the Indoor Flea Market (Miracle of Life Building), the Knife and Gun Show (Swine Barn), the Ruth Butler Building, and in the Equipment Display area.
An ATM is located at the Grandstand.
